"Run SQL" throws a set of exceptions (one per row) in case of output columns contain a one having timestamp type. Linger failed to cast such field. Pay attention: the bug can goes away if you call "Run LINQ" on the converted query and then again call "Run SQL" on the source.

This is known issue. I made some research and found out that there is a problem to display binary and timestamp fields in the DataGirdView control. If you have an image in your binary field, that should not be a problem, but if you have different data there, .NET will raise an error. Timestamp type is treated as binary, and .NET raises exception if you have this field in the DataGridView. There is no obvious solution for me so far, but I will be looking for it.
